Teresa's father used to polish Paua Shells and create beautiful jewellery, and home decor items from them years ago when she was a little girl living in New Zealand. This print is created from macro photographs she took of two book-ends that he made for her.  This shawl has been digitally printed in Sydney, Australia using an eco-friendly printing process.

Fabric: 100% silk georgette - semi-sheer. The print goes through the fabric on both sides nicely. 

Care Instructions: hand wash in cool water using mild soap or wool wash liquid. Drip dry in shade. Iron on silk setting if required.
